How do I calculate how much tile I need to order?
We recommend measuring your total square footage and adding a 10-15% buffer for cuts, waste, and future repairs. For herringbone or diagonal patterns, a 20% buffer is suggested.
What is your return policy for overstock tiles?
We accept returns on unopened, full boxes of tile within 30 days of delivery. Please note that individual tiles cannot be returned, and a 15% restocking fee may apply.
How are the tiles shipped to ensure they don't break?
Large orders are shipped via LTL freight on specialized pallets with protective shrink-wrap and corner guards. Smaller orders are double-boxed with foam padding to minimize the risk of transit damage.
Can I request a sample before placing a full order?
Yes, we offer 4x4 or 6x6 samples for most of our collections. Samples are a great way to verify color, texture, and finish in your home's specific lighting before committing to a bulk purchase.
Are your tiles suitable for both floors and walls?
Most of our porcelain and stone tiles are rated for both, but some glass or decorative ceramic tiles are wall-only. Please check the 'Usage' section on the product page for specific PEI ratings.
Do you offer professional installation services?
The Tile Shoppe is a product retailer only. While we do not provide installation, we can provide a list of recommended local contractors and detailed installation guides for DIY projects.
